The Rapture And You

So there’s a lot of talk going around about the rapture coming this Saturday!  I’m going to go on record saying the the rapture will not happen this Saturday at 6:00pm.. and this is why.

Matthew 24:36 “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”

Not even Jesus Christ knows the day, time, or year of when the rapture is coming.  If the Angels in Heaven and the son of God himself don’t know, you can be sure that measly humans such as ourselves sure as shit don’t know.  Humans need to get over themselves, we are not all knowing and we cannot predict the future.

I have seen people saying things like “I’m going to laugh when the world continues on May 22nd.”   I get the point of what they’re saying, but I don’t think they really understand what the rapture is.. When the true rapture happens the world will still go on for years.. The people left behind will still not believe that it happened, they’ll laugh and go on with their lives.  The rapture is only one part of the coming apocalypse. All people who believe in Jesus Christ will be taken from this Earth at the same time.  All that will be left are their clothing.. In case you don’t really know what I mean, here is a photo.. So anyway, that’s all the rapture is… One day a huge chunk of the worlds population will be gone.. You may think that’s scary, but the scary thing is what all those people left behind will have to go through.. Even scarier is that after everything they still won’t believe the word of God.  After the rapture comes war, famine, disease & death.. The anti-christ will follow and “solve” the worlds problems. There’ll be unified currency, religion and a false sense of security throughout the entire world. The anti-christ will be worshiped, he will not allow people to buy or sell anything without the “mark” on your hand or forehead. Anyone who doesn’t get the mark will be beheaded. Anyway, after the entire world basically goes to shit, Jesus Christ comes back! (the thing to note here, that I think is really interesting… Is that the devil and his demons are NOT scary, they are tempting, sensuous & beautiful.  Jesus and his Angels are warriors, they come with the wrath of God and they come to start a war. *the Armageddon* They’re going to be feared by a lot of people when they see it.)

Rev 19:11-15 “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”

After all this, Jesus beats Satan and then judgement day is upon us!  #JustSayin if you reject Jesus and miss the rapture, you will more than likely accept the mark of the beast.. Doing so will result in you burning in hell. (Sorry.)

Acts 16:31 “And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved..”

John 14:6 “Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father except through me..””

Well, my point for this post was to clear up some confusion I’ve seen on what the Rapture actually is.  Some think that it is ‘the end of the world’ it’s really not.. It’s just the beginning.  My advice to you is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savoir.  Admit that you are a sinner and be willing to change your ways.  Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later.  Invite Jesus into your heart and see the positive affect it will have on your life.  The power of God is amazing, and I really want you to see the beauty in having a faith driven life.  God has a plan for you and I hope you open yourself to see what it is. If you still don’t believe in God and Jesus.. well.. I’ll be praying for you.
